You may be asking yourself, why am I doing this? Well, my family has been houseboating for over 50 years. It all started with my grandparents, Joe and Jennette Nunnelley. They were married for 60 years and rented and owned houseboats throughout their entire marriage, sharing them with friends and family. The houseboat vacations are among my favorite memories with them, and I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life.

Both my grandparents emphasized to me and my family that one of their biggest wishes was to have had nicer houseboat rentals earlier on in their houseboating journey—more like the one they enjoyed toward the end of their journey.

That is the wish I hope to fulfill: to create an experience for future families who visit the lake, helping them build lasting memories like the ones I shared with my grandmother and grandfather.

I will dedicate my heart and soul to this journey. May my Nana rest in peace. I will forever love them both and thank you for the memories you gave me as a child.
